Our laboratory
VILNIUS RADIOCARBON operates 240 kV single stage accelerator mass spectrometer SSAMS from National Electrostatics Corporation (USA) and Low Energy accelerator mass spectrometer LEA from Ionplus AG (Switzerland), increasing measurement thruput capacities in environmentally friendly mode. The accuracy of the measured ¹⁴C/¹²C ratio is better than 0.3%
A modern laboratory of sample preparation for radiocarbon dating equipped with elemental analyzers Vario Isotope Select (Elementar GmbH), Vario Isotope Cube (Elementar GmbH), Earth (Sercon Ltd) coupled with Automated Graphitization Equipment AGE3 (Ionplus AG), CO2 Graphitization Systems CORgiS (Barnas UAB) and isotope ratio mass spectrometer Isoprime Vision (Elementar GmbH).

Lab is certified according to ISO 9001, ISO14001 international standards for provision of mass spectrometry services. Also lab is ISO 17025 accredited for AMS C14 measurements according to ASTM6866 standard.
